Wit integrates with your Windows 95 or NT4.0 shell and is always ready to use in the right clock context menu of Windows Explorer and on Desktop objects. Wit uses only a little disk space and stores your data in a small, quick database. To install "What is This?" ========================== 1. Unzip the contents of WIT008.ZIP into a temporary directory 2. Execute SETUP.EXE from the temporary directory To install this shell extension on Windows NT you must be logged in as administrator or a user who is a member of the Administrators group. This is because installing a shell extension on NT requires update rights to a part of the registry to which a normal user cannot write. To uninstall "What is This?" ============================ 1. From the Start menu, select Settings, then Control Panel, then Add/Remove Programs. 2. Select the "What is This?" entry. 3. Click on the Add/Remove button.
